Sunny Beach 
Sunny Beach is the biggest and sunniest Bulgarian resort lying 35 km north of the city of Bourgas. Sunny Beach has the longest and the widest beach strip and stretches along a beautiful semicircular bay for 8km. The average daily temperature in summer is 27 degrees C and boasts over 1,700 hours of sunshine from May to October. The sea is clear with a gentle sloping sandy bottom with no tides and is on average warmer than the Mediterrranean through summer. Local places of interest

 

Nessebur is an ancient town 5 minutes south of Sunny Beach. The town is a world heritage site with historic buildings, shops, and restaurants overlooking the bay. Take a trip there by boat, bus,mini train or walk along the promenade. Well worth a visit.

 

 

   

 

Varna is Bulgaria's largest city on the coast 95km north of Sunny Beach. The Dolphinarium is a popular tourist attraction or shop for cheap clothes and admire the architecture of the old buildings

 

Bourgas is a modern industrial city with old cultural traditions situated 35 km south of Sunny Beach popular for shopping. International folk festivals through the summer.
